    This 2D-animated family sit-com follows two mixed-heritage siblings. Nikhil and Jay is based on books by Chitra Soundar, who was inspired by her own authentic lived experience of South Asian and British culture. King Banana TV is working with Paper Owl Films and CAKE to produce this exciting new project! Coming to CBeebies SOON!

    Series 2 of Meet The Experts continues to celebrate young children's knowledge & achievements in a hobby or interest which they love. Series 1 & 2 has introduced us to a hugely diverse set of talented and passionate children from across the UK.

  • Yakka Dee Sounds! - Series 7

    26 x 05'00 for CBeebies

    Series 7 introduces a new format to the Yakka Dee! universe and introduces the audience to phonics - the association between sounds and letters. Featuring 26 episodes – one for each letter of the alphabet. Each episode focuses on a sound and the letter associated with that sound.

  • Yakka Dee! Series 6

    20 x 05'00 for CBeebies

    Series 1 - 6 of Yakka Dee! has offered kids their first 120 words to learn and set them on a great path of language acquisition - from the very first sounds they might utter in series 1 to more complex cluster sounds in series 6.

    In association with Boom Kids, Meet The Experts celebrates children's achievements, skills and knowledge! Could be dance, could be judo, could be trains - we're looking for an expert! Commissioned and airing on Channel 5 milkshake!

    Series 5 of Yakka Dee! continues to follow energetic chatterbox Dee as she encourages kids to get talking. With her friends, focuses in on one simple word at a time bringing that word to life.

  • Yakka Dee! Series 4

    Series 4 of Yakka Dee! continues to teach one noun per episode. The episodes cover the progression of sounds children make - teaching a new set each series. Yakka Dee! series 4 adds to the audience''s developmental journey in Speech and Language.

    King Banana was commissioned by CBeebies to make a Series 3 of smash-hit show, Yakka Dee! The series aired on CBeebies in 2019, and further advances the audience's development by introducing more advanced words and phonemes.

    After the huge success of series 1, Yakka Dee! series 2 continues it's clear, humour-filled format to encourage children to speak and learn new words.

  • Yakka Dee! Series 1

    Series 1 of Yakka Dee! first aired on CBeebies in 2017. Each episode of Yakka Dee! concentrates on one word. The words featured in series 1 focus on the first sounds children can vocalise, making it especially helpful for young children, those with speech delay, autism or English as a second language.

  • Numtums

    King Banana’s first collaboration was this quick fire numbers show. The team wrote, produced and directed the show. The format is simple with an instantly recognizable style. The characters have since been developed for a narrative animation.

  • Peppa Pig - My First Cinema Experience

    1 x 72'00 general cinematic release

    In 2019 Lotte directed the Peppa Pig Cinema Experience! This 72 minute theatrical release comprised of previously unreleased episodes and musical interludes of the animated TV show.

  • Andy's Prehistoric Adventures

    25 x 14'00 for CBeebies

    In 2015 Katie was part of the writing team for the CBeebies commissioned Andy's Prehistoric Adventures, a fact-entertainment show. Katie wrote the BAFTA nominated episode for the series.

  • Teletubbies

    120 x 14'00 for CBeebies

    In 2015 Lotte directed the renewed production of Teletubbies for Darrall McQueen. The rebooted classic stayed true to the much-loved British children's television series Teletubbies.

  • Go Jetters

    In 2011 Katie co-created the internationally successful animation Go Jetters! The series follows the adventures of four plucky international heroes, Xuli, Kyan, Lars and Foz, as they travel the globe with their friend and mentor Ubercorn, a disco-dancing unicorn.
